Happy Valentine's Day! I had to work today at the hospital, it was a great shift though I was aching for energy. I came home to a tidied kitchen and this beautiful arrangement on our kitchen table. About a week after Girls Camp we went to Glacier National Park - Illecillewaet Campground with hubby´s family. We spent the weekend there hiking up huge mountains and seeing spectacular views! Finally I get a chance to sit and unload my thoughts and happenings for the past month. After burning our food we decided to stay at Jon's parent's house as the smoke had permeated every molecule in the house. Quite literally. It was unbearable. Today we went down to in Drumheller, AB, known for its many dinosaur fossils that were discovered here; among other things. Jon informed me that some of the bones from the museum were used for the movie Jurrasic Park. It was a ton of fun and we plan to return to go to Reptile World. Today I just checked my worm bin and I am starting to get lots of beautiful black vermicompost. I also noticed a tonne of worm eggs which is really exciting because the young worms will eat more and at a faster rate than their parents. I keep the bin inside because it is still too cold for my red wrigglers but the great thing is that there is no smell from the rotting food. In a couple more weeks

Arriving at 10 am and finishing at 4pm our piano tuner was very thorough. He did a fantastic job, replacing pins and strings, fixing action and hammers etc. After it was all repaired then came the tuning. A former music teacher, this man travels around Alberta to tune pianos. My mother-in-law says he wont let anyone else touch her piano but him.

Well for a quick update on the birds, there are none. Babies that it. After the mom or dad ( not sure you could be that cruel) ate their baby bird, the mom abandoned the eggs. They were not being turned and their wasn't enough humidity so the developing embryo stuck to the side of the shell and stopped developing.
